Very burnt meat. Not freshly cut from gyro at time I ordered. More like cut and left to dry out all day. What happened to salad and garlic sauce. None on mine. Go to lambs in Carlton to have a lesson on fresh food. Will not be going back!

Rhodes Greek Tavern has been a favourite place of ours to dine out for years. The food is delicious, the staff are very friendly and it is always a great experience. Seriously delicious. The home made dips are some of the best I've tasted and the grilled flat bread they're served with is the perfect accompaniment. The calamari was also really well seasoned and beautifully light and crispy. And then, the gyros...how can something be perfectly charred and crisp but also melt in your mouth!? I have no clue, but it was and it did! We will be back regularly
Bush setting, tucked away, but our go-to for Greek food. The pita bread is the best Ive ever had and the meals are huge and flavoursome. I do miss the Greek coffee which they dont make anymore. I also highly recommend the Skordalia (potato garlic dip), actually all the dips and even the side salads which always have a delicious dressing on them. The dining room is noisy when its full (no soft furnishings to buffer sounds) and the chairs arent comfortable but the food draws you back, its delicious. You can get takeaway too.
